   A shout out to anyone out there thinking about doing Tikibeat’s carving course……stop thinking and just do it! Don’t miss an awesome opportunity to pick the brain of a very humble and patient master. Girls, don’t be scared, you WILL keep up with the guys (one of the tidiest carvers in our class is a lady!)…… and boys, don’t think that because you’ve already worked with wood there won’t be much to learn. Marcus will show you different techniques that will have you carving like a professional in half the time you had thought you could do it. What are you waiting for?!! xx

   As someone who had never picked up wood tools before I was a bit worried about attending Marcus’ workshop but decided it would be something really interesting to try. I could not believe what I was actually making after just 2 days. For someone of Marcus’ calibre to take the time and teach his craft to someone like me was an honor. Not only was the weekend a heap of fun but I was really surprised at how quickly I was picking it all up. I can not recommend this workshop enough!!

   I will definately be going to the next workshop to improve even more.

   this was a great workshop, just to spend time with other people with the same interests and apreciation for carving tikis as I have makes me want to get off my arse and carve even more
   do it you will love it!!!!
